Self-Certification & Homologation

Implement test scenarios in a controlled manner. Document the results accurately.

Conducting defined type tests, documented test conditions and traceable evaluations: we support you with self-certification and type-approval in accordance with relevant regulations such as FMVSS 111, KMVSS 53-2 or UNECE R166 – from carrying out the tests to producing a robust test report. Our commitment: no result without context, no test report without verifiable traceability.

The challenge

For type-approval and self-certification, defined test cases must be carried out reliably and reproducibly under clearly specified boundary conditions – often under considerable time pressure.

The test procedure requires a clearly defined test setup: the test object configuration, test equipment, calibration status, environmental conditions and test parameters must be fully documented.

During testing, a wide variety of data sources are generated – ranging from measurement values and log files to media recordings and test reports. These must be consolidated in a consistent manner and analysed in a way that allows full traceability.

The key outcome of every test is a robust test report. The procedure, results, deviations and, where applicable, repeat tests must be described in a full and transparent manner.

Comprehensive documentation is essential for audits, self-certifications and regulatory compliance. All parameters, decisions and results must be documented in a manner that is verifiable and traceable at all times.

Features

About our product

  • Conducting defined self-certification and type-approval tests in accordance with relevant regulations (e.g. FMVSS 111, KMVSS 53-2, UNECE R166) – in a reproducible, standards-compliant and structured manner.
  • Clear documentation of the test setup and boundary conditions, including configuration, test parameters, environmental conditions and the test equipment used.
  • Consistent collection, consolidation and transparent analysis of measurement data, logs and media recordings.
  • Transparent tracking of non-conformities and re-tests, including version and status management.
  • Preparation of comprehensive, audit-proof and verifiable test reports to serve as a robust basis for self-certification and type-approval documentation.
  • Mobile self-certification solutions and on-site inspections enable tests to be carried out, documented and evaluated directly at your premises.
